The inspiration behind Aunt Sista's
Aunt Sista’s was inspired by my mother — a true Southern woman whose homemade sweet baked treats were crafted with tradition, precision, and an abundance of love. Everything she baked carried her spirit: careful hands, a warm heart, and a quiet elegance that made even simple ingredients feel special.
Growing up, some of my most treasured memories were made in the kitchen beside her — watching, learning, and feeling the joy she poured into every recipe. When she taught me how to make my first pound cake, it wasn’t just a lesson in baking… it was a lesson in love, patience, and purpose. I wasn’t simply watching someone bake; I was witnessing someone pour their soul into their craft.
